Transforming Ilsan's Residential District: A Design Journey
This semester, the course taught by Professor Lim, along with USDL alumni Won Jongmin, embarked on an ambitious project to transform Ilsan's residential district. The focus was predominantly on mastering Rhino and Grasshopper, essential tools for modern architectural design and urban planning. The course began with foundational Rhino tutorials, gradually advancing to more complex modeling and analytical techniques using various digital tools. Students were able to harness these skills to reimagine and redesign the urban landscape of Ilsan, integrating innovative concepts and cutting-edge technology.
